A first entry for the 2010 edition of the great MSXdev’10 contest : a PONG clone created by SapphiRe and ARTRAG reunited under the Z80ST-Software label. A nice surprize for all the visitors of the 37th edition of the RU (Reunión de Usuarios) meeting in Barcelona this 19 June 2010 !!! Also a way to make us wait for the so long expected QBIQS (MSX1 clone of Quarth).
NeoPONG512 is also a clone of the very classical PONG game … Besides, it is an improved remake of PONG512 released by SapphiRe for the funny Let’s Pong competition in 2005. Many enhancements by comparison with the previous version : intro screen, new fonts for the title and the scores, color effect on the borders, samples that give more punch to the game, using of a different palette color on MSX2 and higher … The variable aspect of the borders (512 variants !) is still present of course, so the game justifies fully its original name !
